What is Adobe Acrobat Reader®?
It is a program that reads files that were created  with Acrobat Exchange. All of our PDF forms and documents were created with  Acrobat Exchange. When Acrobat Reader is installed on your computer, then  these files can be viewed and printed exactly as they were created,  no matter what computer or printer you have.  Acrobat Reader®  is available free to download fromAdobe's website. Without Adobe Acrobat Reader, you will not be able to download the  forms and documents.

Have  Acrobat Reader® on your computer, and cannot download a form?
Memory resources are low -- Very common reason why a form will not download or print properly.  Close all other applications and then click on the download.  Low memory can be a problem even on high performance PCs.
TIP--You may save the file to your computer which may make it more convenient for you to use.  In W95, right click on file, and choose Save Target As (save file as) then save the file to your computer.  You also may choose to "save to disk"  under the preference settings of your Browser, depending on the operating system and Browser you have.  If you get an error message from Adobe while downloading a form, click on Refresh or go Back and click on the form again to download.

Browser settings -- Be sure your Browser is set to run Acrobat Reader.

Netscape, check under OPTIONS | General Preferences | Helpers. Make sure Adobe Acrobat Reader is associated with Acrobat's .pdf (portable document format) files.
Internet Explorer, check under VIEW (Or under TOOLS)| Options | Programs | Viewers | File Types. Make sure Adobe Acrobat Reader is associated with Acrobat's .pdf (portable document format) files.
AOL and Compuserve users, check your Preferences for Internet file helpers. Make sure Adobe Acrobat Reader is associated with Acrobat's .pdf (portable document format) files.

Having  trouble printing a downloaded form?

Be sure you use the Adobe toolbar print button to print the form, not your Browser's print command.
Form prints with "strange  characters," is mostly blank or replaces text with dots:   This is often due to low memory resources.  Close all other programs  then try printing the form.
TIP-- Remember, you may save the file to your computer which may make it more convenient for you to use.  In W95, right click on file, and choose Save Target As (save file as) then save the file to your computer.  You also may choose to "save to disk"  under the preference settings of your Browser, depending on the operating system and Browser you have.
